Rose Viggiani

Artist

Rose is a lifelong resident of the capital district in New York.  Her interest in Art began in grade school and flourished in high school where she began to develop her skills in painting. 

She pursued a career in nursing and received her Nursing degree from SAGE College where she minored in fine arts.She enjoyed a 30 year career as a mental health nurse for the State of New York and Rensselaer County Department of Mental Health. 

Upon retiring she rediscovered her passion for Art. She has studied at The Arts Center of the Capital Region and under the instruction of accomplished artist and instructor Deborah Bayly. She paints primarily in oil including landscapes, still-life and portraiture.

She has shown her work in area galleries and exhibits including The Arts Center of the Capital Region,  The Historic Albany Foundations annual BUILT show, and shared  ownership of  The Red Door Gallery in Troy, NY
